Lewis and Clark would have killed for these maps! Montana's rugged and diverse topographic
features stand out in bold detail, from the Bitterroot Mountains to the Great Plains. The
backroad detail is exceptional, and BLM and state lands are color-coded for easy
reference. There is a special section on Glacier National Park, including a large-scale
topographic map and information on places to go and things to do within the park. There
are special maps showing the range of various game animals, plus a section on some of the
state's best trout-fishing rivers, and another on prime wildlife viewing sites. The scale
is 1:250,000 (1" to 4 miles). A mosaic of all the maps would measure 12½ feet wide
by 7 feet high.
